UN Disability Inclusion Network VIC

The United Nations Disability Inclusion Network (DIN) is a volunteer-led network based at the Vienna International Centre (VIC). Registered as an independent association in Austria and recognized as an official VIC Club, DIN supports staff and their family members living with visible or non-visible disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Our Mission

DIN strives to create a more accessible and inclusive Vienna International Centre by supporting staff, raising awareness of disability and neurodiversity, and working with UN organizations and partners to improve policies, practices, and accessibility.

What We Do

  • Provide confidential peer support and guidance
  • Advocate for disability inclusion within the UN Vienna context
  • Advise on accessibility and reasonable accommodations
  • Raise awareness through events and expert discussions
  • Connect stakeholders across organizations and networks

Get Involved

VIC colleagues (staff, personnel and members of embassies/diplomatic missions in Vienna) are welcome to join the Network, attend events, seek support, or contribute to DIN’s activities as volunteers. Everyone is welcome.
