About DIN
The United Nations Disability Inclusion Network (DIN) is a volunteer-led network located at the Vienna International Centre in Austria. DIN serves all VIC-based organizations, including IAEA, CTBTO, UNODC, and UNIDO.
DIN is registered as an independent association with the Austrian authorities and is an official VIC Club. The Network is led by international civil servants working in UN-affiliated organizations and operates in alignment with the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS).
Vision
The Vienna International Centre is a fully inclusive workplace where everyone, regardless of visible or non-visible disability or neurodiversity, can work to the best of their abilities with unrestricted access to all locations, resources, and information.
Mission
DIN works to create a more accessible and inclusive VIC by assisting staff affected directly or indirectly by disabilities in professional and personal matters, addressing systemic challenges with relevant stakeholders, and promoting awareness, understanding, and collaboration.
