Accessibility statement
As a disability network, we want everyone to be able to use this website.
Our commitment
What we aim for
UN DIN VIC aims to make undin.org accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We are a volunteer-run association, so we improve the site step by step and welcome your feedback.
What we have done
Measures in place
- High-contrast colours throughout the site
- Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision
- Clear heading structure and descriptive link texts
- Keyboard navigation and a “skip to content” link
- German-language passages marked so screen readers pronounce them correctly
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and zoomed text
Known limitations
What we are still working on
- Some images, especially in older posts, do not yet have text descriptions. We are adding them.
- Videos are hosted on YouTube; captions depend on the individual recording.
- Linked documents and content from other websites may not be fully accessible.
