upcoming, on 8th October: “Minds Without Borders” – An International Neurodiversity Programme at the VIC

UN DIN VIC is delighted to invite to Minds Without Borders, a full morning and early afternoon dedicated to neurodiversity, bringing together clinical insight, cultural intelligence and human connection.

📅 Thursday, 8 October 2026
🕙 10:00–11:30 (workshops) and 13:00–14:30 (talks/presentations)
📍 Conference Room 1 (CR-1), C-Building, 2nd Floor, Vienna International Centre
Open to everybody with valid access to the VIC.

Morning: Six Strands-Workshops (10:00–11:30)
During the morning session, participants are split into six small groups. Each group then rotates through all six specialists in turn, spending about 15 minutes with each one on their particular theme, or “strand” — from AuDHD to ADHD coaching. This format is designed to give participants the chance to engage directly with several different experts and perspectives over the course of the morning.

  • AuDHD – Dr Khurram Sadiq
  • ADHD & Addiction – Dr Hina Rehman
  • Women & Neurodevelopmental Conditions – Dr Sandhya Eappen
  • Autism in Adults – Dr Hugo Amaro
  • Autism & ADHD in Intellectual Disability – Dr Alda Amaro
  • ADHD Coaching & Psychoeducation – Miss Tarana Jhunjhunwala

After the break: Keynote, “Neurodiversity and Hidden Talent” & Flash Talks (13:00–14:30)
Consultant Neurodevelopmental Psychiatrist, TEDx speaker and author Dr Khurram Sadiq opens with his keynote, “Neurodiversity – Different Operating Systems, Same Planet.” Sabrina Menasria then takes the stage with “Neurodiversity and Hidden Talent,” before our five workshop specialists share their insights and conclusions from the workshops in rapid-fire flash talks. The event ends with a live Q&A.

Autism and ADHD are common, lifelong neurodevelopmental conditions that shape how people think, behave and connect with others — and this programme showcases the strengths they might bring.

We look forward to seeing you there!
